Build a Modrinth .mrpack from a ZIP
Drop in a modpack ZIP — a CurseForge export, or a plain instance folder with
mods/ and config/. Every mod is fingerprinted and looked
up on Modrinth, so what you get is a real .mrpack that launchers
accept. Nothing is uploaded: only hashes are sent, and a hash cannot be turned back
into your file.

How it works
A .mrpack does not contain the mods themselves. It stores a list of
them, each with an official download link, a file size and two hashes
(sha1 and sha512). That is what keeps a modpack a few
hundred kilobytes instead of a gigabyte.
So this tool reads your ZIP, hashes every mod on your own machine, and asks
Modrinth which of those hashes it recognises. Recognised mods become entries in
modrinth.index.json. Anything Modrinth does not know —
CurseForge-only mods, private builds, your own edits, plus every config, resource
pack and script — is copied into overrides/, so nothing is lost.
A CurseForge export is detected automatically: its manifest.json is
read to pre-fill the pack name, version, Minecraft version and loader.
