How to use this tool, and the questions players ask most.
A full four-tier beacon pyramid requires 164 mineral blocks, which equals 1,476 raw ingots or gems. Valid base blocks include iron, gold, diamond, emerald, and netherite blocks arranged in layers of 9, 34, 52, and 81 blocks.
A standard Minecraft chunk measures 16 blocks wide by 16 blocks long and extends from Y-level -64 to 320, containing exactly 98,304 total blocks. This vertical build limit of 384 blocks was established in Java Edition 1.18.
You can export your build as a .litematic or .schem file and load it into the Material Calculator to get an itemized block and raw material count. In vanilla creative worlds, running a /clone command into an empty area also reports the total block volume.
An unarmored player with 20 health points will survive a maximum fall of 23 blocks, taking fatal damage on block 24. Equipping boots with Feather Falling IV and three pieces of Protection IV armor increases the maximum survivable fall distance to 103 blocks.
The /fill command modifies a maximum of 32,768 blocks in a single execution. Running the command over a larger bounding box fails unless you split coordinates or increase the limit using the commandModificationBlockLimit gamerule introduced in Java Edition 1.19.4.
