How to get a structure block in Minecraft?

You obtain a structure block by running the command /give @s minecraft:structure_block in chat with cheats enabled. It cannot be obtained from the creative inventory tabs in survival mode or crafted on a crafting table.

Can you use structure blocks in survival?

Structure blocks cannot be opened or broken in survival mode, requiring creative mode and operator permission level 2 or higher. Right-clicking a structure block while in survival mode will not display the configuration interface.

What do structure void blocks do in Minecraft?

A minecraft:structure_void block tells a structure block not to overwrite existing blocks at that position when loaded. Unlike regular air blocks that overwrite blocks with air, structure void spaces leave existing world blocks untouched.

How to rotate a structure in a structure block?

Set the structure block to LOAD mode and click the rotation button to cycle between 0, 90, 180, and 270 degrees. The bounding box updates in real time to show the rotated footprint.

Can you undo a structure block load in Minecraft?

Minecraft has no native undo command or mechanism for structure block placements once loaded into the world. To revert unwanted changes, you must restore a previous world backup or load an alternate .nbt file over the area.
