How to use this tool, and the questions players ask most.
A schematic file is a saved 3D template of blocks and entities exported by mods like WorldEdit or Litematica. Legacy .schematic files support versions prior to 1.13, while modern builds use .schem or .litematic formats with full block state support.
Bedrock Edition requires exporting the build as a .mcstructure file rather than a Java .schematic. Place a structure_block in Load mode in Bedrock, enter the structure name, and press Load to paste the blocks into your world.
WorldEdit saves and loads schematic files from .minecraft/config/worldedit/schematics/. For Fabric players using Litematica, the default directory is .minecraft/schematics/, located directly inside your primary game folder.
Load a saved schematic with WorldEdit by typing //schem load filename into the chat console. Stand at your target location and run //paste to place the blocks relative to your player position.
Convert .schem files to Java structure .nbt format using the Schematic Converter tool on this page. Vanilla Minecraft reads these converted files from the generated/minecraft/structures/ directory using a standard minecraft:structure_block.
