Quick guides

How to use this tool, and the questions players ask most.

Where is the Litematica schematic folder located?

Place your .litematic files in the .minecraft/schematics directory on your computer. If the folder does not exist yet, create a new subfolder named schematics inside the primary .minecraft folder alongside your saves directory.

Why is my Litematica schematic not showing in game?

Open the schematic placement menu by pressing M + P and verify that placement rendering is enabled. Schematics also fail to render if your in-game render distance is set below 4 chunks or if layer slicing limits the visible vertical range to 0.

How do you rotate a schematic in Litematica?

Press M + P to open the schematic placement manager, click configure on your placement, and cycle the rotation button between 90, 180, and 270 degrees. You can also rotate placement incrementally while holding a stick in tool mode 2.

How do you paste a Litematica schematic in Creative mode?

Switch to tool mode 9 (Execute Operation) while holding a stick, then press the assigned executeOperation hotkey to paste blocks directly. In singleplayer worlds, cheats must be enabled with operator permission level 2 or higher for the command to execute.

How to view a Litematica schematic without opening Minecraft?

You can inspect .litematic or .nbt files in your browser using Schematic 3D Viewer to examine layer-by-layer slices and total block counts without launching the game client or installing Fabric mods.
