How to use this tool, and the questions players ask most.
Enter the target username into a web skin viewer or fetch their raw texture directly from the official Mojang session server using their UUID. The server returns a base64 string containing the PNG link hosted on textures.minecraft.net.
Skin visibility fails when playing on an unauthenticated multiplayer server set to online-mode=false or if the image exceeds the required 64x64 pixel dimensions. Accounts loaded in offline mode will automatically default to standard Steve or Alex models.
Open the in-game Settings menu, navigate to General, and toggle off the setting named Only Allow Trusted Skins. When left enabled, Bedrock blocks custom imported skins from multiplayer servers and replaces them with default character models.
Past textures can be viewed through public community databases and tools like Skin Viewer, which archive previous textures linked to a player account. Mojang does not retain historic files in the client once a new 64x64 PNG is uploaded.
Outer skin layers fail to render if the individual clothing parts are turned off inside the Options... > Skin Customization menu. Verify that each part, such as Hat, Jacket, and Sleeves, is set to ON.
